Inspiration FromThe Simple Things In Life

gum07Aug12trimforblogpost

A favourite photo, a favourite luscious bloom, a favourite time of year. The simple things in life can be so inspiring.

This tree is a eucalyptus silver princess. (The last gift given to me by my mother before she died.) A true treasure. It now stands so tall, so strong, gracing my front garden.

Something Simple Makes Me Smile

BeeAndBloomsTrOct2014

Sometimes, something as simple as seeing a bee’s wings sparkling in the sunshine is all it takes to make me smile. Nature has so many treats.

We All Need Our Time To Bloom

TwoClivias

Whipping winds, cool temperatures, and smashing hail could not deter this clivia from blooming. Natural evidence that when it’s time to bloom, get on with it and BLOOM.

And how we all need our time to bloom.

Time to Smile as the First Blossom Blooms

FirstSpringBloomSep2014

Spring is so inspiring. The sun shines, the weather warms, and the first blossoms bloom. It’s a time to smile, to enjoy, to feel hope in the air.

Nature can be so stunning, in such simple ways.

A Tiny Vibrant Bloom

Flower or Butterfly July 2014

Winter here in Australia. And as in life, a tiny vibrant bloom in the midst of dull, dreary winter, can bring so much delight.

What attracted me to this flower, apart from its vivid colour, was that it could almost be mistaken for a butterfly. Well, it just takes a little imagination.
And gardens are places of such inspiration and imagination.

All Is Well

After a long dry summer, the rain finally thumped down. This morning the grass is resurgent green, and the gumnuts are popping their tops. All is well. It certainly feels that way out in the garden.
