Natural Beauty

IMG_0250

What natural beauty. How calming for the soul, in these torrid times, to be out in nature — even if it’s in my own garden!

Time for some collective calmness, particularly between countries.

B is for Bee, and for Beautiful

Busy Bee 23 April 2017

B is for bee, and for beautiful. There’s joy to be had from simple moments in nature — like watching bees in a bush of rosemary as the autumn sun shines. Another beautiful relaxing day; a day off from writing.

Bee-autiful

The simple beauty of an Australian summer: my crepe myrtle in full bloom, and all the visiting bees. Bee-autiful!

The crepe myrtle breaks into bloom each December and then blooms for the rest of summer. It’s such a treat to see — right by the front door.

The perfect place to take a break from writing, and ponder.

Spring, Busy Bees, Sunshine

Spring, like today’s sunshine, has finally arrived. The bees are busy, and blossoms are blooming. It’s the season of surprises — at least in the garden.

‘When I’m not working on my latest commission — a biography — I’m likely to be out in the garden, delighting in each new bloom. Gardens, like nature, are such a source of inspiration,’ says Michele Gierck.

Finding your special space, and remembering to visit it, makes all the difference in life.
