For all of us, not just this tree, there’s a time to lay low (dormant), and a time to bloom. Perhaps that’s why we really appreciate the first colourful, vibrant buds — a glimpse of nature’s rich palette.

A cool spring morning, early morning golden light, and clivias dripping with dew. So simple. So naturally beautiful. So easy to miss. Yet so inspiring.
What a delightful tiny flower in my front garden. So delicate, so colourful, so intricate, with so much detail in each bloom. More evidence that small may be beautiful, but tiny can be terrific.
Early morning light brings radiant, almost ethereal sunshine, and warmth. And it seems I am not the only one who appreciates it–so too this plump feathery neighbour.
