Yesterday I stood in the brisky wintery air admiring the little gumnuts at the top of the eucaplyptus silver princess. The tree, the last gift given to me by my mother before she died, is now in flower. And it seems it’s not just me who delights in each bloom. So too this honey eater, pecking away at nectar.
And having this image, a visual reminder of nature’s beauty, makes it doubly delightful.
