Double Delight

Yesterday I stood in the brisky wintery air admiring the little gumnuts at the top of the eucaplyptus silver princess. The tree, the last gift given to me by my mother before she died, is now in flower. And it seems it’s not just me who delights in each bloom. So too this honey eater, pecking away at nectar.

And having this image, a visual reminder of nature’s beauty, makes it doubly delightful.

    • Thanks Iris. Thanks for letting me know which one it is. The birds in the garden at the moment are so chirpy, so busy, so delightful to watch. Glad you are enjoying nature too. Michele
